Our Children at Risk project seeks to restore hope and provide opportunities and a future for children at risk. Our main goal is to see children living in healthy families where they can reach their potential in all areas: social, physical, mental and spiritual. Through therapy, training, and providing the needed resources, we aim to prevent these children from ending up on the street or in institutions.

We give children and families the tools they need to overcome obstacles and live fruitful and productive lives. Working together with our local partners, we empower, encourage and help provide opportunities for a better future for these children!

THE MOBILITY SUBPROJECT provides physical and occupational therapy for children living in state-run institutions as well as families connected to the parent associations we work with. We also provide adaptive equipment to these families and children as we are able as well as personal care to some of the most vulnerable children in state institutions.

THE THERAPEUTIC HORSE-RIDING SUBPROJECT provides physical, emotional, and social therapy through horse riding lessons for children with disabilities particularly cerebral palsy, autism, and Downs syndrome.

THE EDUCATION SUBPROJECT provides 5 teachers, training and materials for children with disabilities in 3 state-run institutions.

THE VOCATIONAL AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT SUBPROJECT provides funds and other opportunities for educational, vocational and recreational activities for children and adults with disabilities.

TOKMOK REHAB AND EDUCATION CENTER – this takes aspects of the other subprojects such as education and physical therapy and implements them in the city of Tokmok with an emphasis on moving children into mainstream education.
